Grassington 12 miles; Harrogate 12 miles.

A charming Dales town nestling in the steep-sided valley of the River Nidd. Quaint little alleys and yards off the steep main street house many interesting shops offering a wide range of unusual gifts and mementos. The town is well known for its prize-winning floral displays, whilst the leisure centre offers splendid sports facilities and the riverside park with children's play area is not to be missed. Also worth a visit are the town's Craft Workshops and the award winning Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking and bird watching.

The Property: Rainbows End

A mews property close to the centre of Pateley Bridge and just a stone's-throw from the river. The stone built house is on three floors with views over the town to the hills above. It is well equipped and furnished, making a very comfortable base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and beyond, at any time of year.

Accommodation

Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x double/twin, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath (shower over), washbasin, WC and bidet. Cloakroom with WC and basin. Splendid, well equipped fitted dining kitchen. Comfortable first floor sitting room with gas fire.

Amenities

Full gas-fired central heating and instant hot water, double glazing. Gas and microwave cookers, fridge, automatic washer/dryer, colour TV, CD. All power inc. in rent. Please bring own bed linen (duvets and pillows provided). Cot and highchair on request. Garage for one medium sized car. Pets by arrangement. Shops, pubs, leisure centre and riverside park with playground close by.

The location was excellent, not only central but, a sandwich shop that does cooked breakfasts is right outside the front door. Beautiful scenery and a park for the kids and the dogs 1 minutes walk away.
