| Previous Visitors' Comments | The cottage was perfectly situated for our love of walking in the countryside. There are many walks that start and finish at the village. The cottage contained many maps and information about where to go and what to do. The people in Middleton are very friendly and you can buy practically anything in the village shops.

Jun 2008 | The cottage was in a perfect location. Having children, it was good to be in a village where there were amenities and a park etc. However, the open countryside was right on our doorstep and places were easily accessible from here. The cottage was very cosy and very clean. There was also an abundance of information about the local area and the owners left a brilliant welcome pack which was a lovely touch.

May 2006 | A very cosy and comfortable cottage in a working small town. There is excellent access to great walking along the Tees and on to the hills and for touring by car over the hills towards Hadrian's Wall. We certainly plan to go back as we only scratched the surface.
