We enjoyed the cottage, it was very friendly and comfortable. Good value and very clean. We loved the area - great for walking and looking at the local interesting flora and fauna. It is a very beautiful and unspoilt place. Barnard Castle in paticular is a lovely little town. The locals were friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed the local beer and visits to the Lakes area.

It was obvious the owner had put effort into presenting this property to a good standard. The welcome bottle of wine was also a nice touch. Generally, we were very pleased with the property. It is in an ideal position for exploring Teesdale and surrounding area.
